Review:
This is my favourite Cag to date. It has been to the Alps and back and done some good hefty water. The cut is completely articulated towards paddling rather than cuts from other makes that still aim toward flat panel construction techniques.

Basically this adds together to make the Cag more flexible for kayaking and making it easier for myself to perform moves without restriction be they freestyle or a hard boof on a river were complete control is everything and without you can kiss your ass goodbye. The nylon material is very strong and I really mean it. Its XP70™ 3-ply breathable Nylon with 6.6 ripstop.
This stuff is brilliant at breathing but not too much causing the dreaded sieve effect, which soaks the unwary playboater or river runner and hypothermia lurks round every bend as time goes on. Also the Cag has never flushed on me in really big water as the latex seals on the arms and neck are well protected with neoprene and the latex itself has been shortened and made stumpier giving fewer vantage points for the water to seep or flush into the Cag.
I unfortunately got a chance to test the ripstop at the start of the year when the river Bann was at a high level. An uncontrolled window shade in a strong concrete stopper nearly tore a chunk out of my arm and I managed to get away with only a 1 inch tear in my Cag at the back of my shoulder. However this should have run the whole length of my Cag in honesty so I know this stuff works very well.
Finally the double waist system is fantastic. It has integrated rubber woven in as a band and is exposed inside the Cag so it can grip the deck better and stop it riding down as well and gripping dry bottoms better making a better seal.
So all in all a fantastic Cag and a good buy.
