Boat: Kingpin 6.2
Manufacturer: Dagger

Review:
An excellent wee playboat from Dagger, if you can fit into it. When I first bought the boat I had to hack away at most of the footrests just to be able to sit in it comfortably. The kingpin loops, floops, cartwheels and stalls with little effort. The Kingpin has a lot of aerial potential so you are able to perform aerial moves with less effort than in the boats predecessor the G-Force.

As comfort goes Dagger hasn’t gone all out & it takes a little getting used to especially if you have big feet.
The Aircore™ pads don’t make much of a difference when paddling; I have found that they do tend to leak some air when they are inflated. I think Dagger has just put them in as more of a gimmick more than anything.

The D Bone™ Subframe is really good it means that the hull will stay rigid when pulling moves such as loops, floops, stalls and cartwheels. There is also a twin tip at the front and rear of the boat with makes stalls and loops easier.

I am a little concerned about the hull of the boat as it has two bolts through it to help hold the seat structure in place. My main worry would be that I could hit a rock and potentially damage the boat badly.

But apart from that it is one of my favourite boats to paddle so far, and I look forward to paddling it as regularly as possibly. I would recommend this boat to anyone that playboats or is interested in taking up playboating
